1. Who we are

Hundi operates hundi.com.au. We provide embedded finance function services to Australian businesses. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refers to Hundi.

We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What information we collect

When you use our website, complete our Finance Function Maturity Score quiz or unlock the full Default Alive Diagnostic, we may collect:

  • Your email address (when you request your full quiz results)
  • Your quiz responses and scores
  • Your Default Alive summary result, including industry, framework status, risk level, runway and recommendation categories
  • We do not store the raw cash, revenue, spend, hiring, cash-event or monthly projection data entered into the Default Alive Diagnostic
  • Technical data collected automatically by analytics tools (see section 5)

3. Why we collect it

We collect your information to:

  • Deliver your Finance Function Maturity Score results
  • Deliver your full Default Alive Diagnostic results
  • Follow up with you about Hundi's services where you have indicated interest
  • Improve our website and understand how visitors use it
  • Comply with our legal obligations

We will not use your information for any purpose unrelated to the above without your consent.

4. Consent and withdrawal

We rely on your consent when you submit your email address to receive quiz results. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing hello@hundi.com.au.

5. Third-party tools

We use the following third-party tools that may process your data:

Google Analytics (GA4) - Google Ireland Limited. Collects anonymised usage data about how visitors interact with our site (pages visited, session duration, device type). Data may be transferred to Google servers in the United States. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Meta Pixel - Meta Platforms, Inc. We use Meta's advertising pixel to measure the effectiveness of any ads we run. This may set cookies and collect data about your visit. Meta's privacy policy is available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

Supabase - Supabase Inc. We use Supabase to securely store quiz responses and email addresses submitted through our site. Supabase infrastructure is hosted on AWS. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

You can opt out of analytics tracking by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser or using a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.

6. Disclosure of your information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except:

  • The service providers listed in section 5, for the purposes described
  • Where required or authorised by Australian law

7. Overseas transfers

Some of the third-party tools listed above store or process data outside Australia, primarily in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle your data consistently with the APPs.

8. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. Your email and quiz data is stored in Supabase with access limited to the Hundi team.

We will retain your data for as long as needed for the purposes described, or as required by law.

9. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Make a complaint if you believe we have mishandled your data
